LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CALLS FOR NATIONAL DIALOGUE IN EGYPT

Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius expresses concern about the latest events in Egypt and urges all sides in Egypt to avoid violence and to commit fully to a democratic process:
“Current political situation in Egypt is a matter of great concern. There is no other way than getting all sides to come to agreement. We urge all sides to avoid violence and to engage in a national dialogue. Free and fair elections must be held without any delay.”
