LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER AND REPRESENTATIVE OF UKRAINIAN PARLIAMENT DISCUSS PREPARATIONS FOR EASTERN PARTNERSHIP SUMMIT

On 28 October in Vilnius, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius and the Chairman of the Committee for European Integration of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Hryhoriy Nemyria discussed preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit.
The Ukrainian representative informed L.Linkevičius about the Verkhovna Rada’s agenda, adoption of pro-EU laws, and Ukraine’s readiness to implement reforms catalysed by the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
L.Linkevičius stressed that in order to sign an association agreement in Vilnius, the Ukrainian authorities and opposition had to join effort for the Parliament to pass the required laws.
