LITHUANIAN FILMS ARE PRESENTED AT THE INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FILM FAIR IN FRANCE
On June 20-24, for the first time ever, the Lithuanian film stand “Lithuanian Films” will be presented at one of the biggest documentary film fairs “Sunny Side of the Docs” in La Rochelle, France.
The famous documentary film fair moved here in 2006 from Marseille.The stand has been already exhibited in Berlin and Cannes. In La Rochelle, the stand contains information about Lithuanian documentary films.
The following Lithuanian documentary film producers and directors participate in the fair: Arūnas Matelis, Rasa Miškinytė, Jurga Gluskinienė, Dagnė Vildžiūnaitė, Lina Lužytė, Lineta Mišeikytė, Ramūnas Škikas and Irma Pužauskaitė.
The stand “Lithuanian Films” will be opened on 21 June.
The presentation of the stand was prepared by the Association of independent Producers, a public company “Versli Lietuva“, the MEDIA Desk Lithuania that is funded by the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania, the International Cultural Programme Centre and the Lithuanian Embassy in France. The presentation is supported by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
