Lithuanian diplomat’s book is among the 10 best historical books in Poland
Poland’s best historical books issued in 2015 were announced during a solemn event on 9 December at the National Library of Poland in the Krasiński Palace. Among other authors, the Lithuanian diplomat Audrius Žulys was also honored with the prestigious Polish prize – the Kazimierz Moczarski Award for History Research – for his book “Poland in Lithuania’s Foreign Policy, 1938-1939. The Study of Diplomatic History”.
Zofia and Kazimierz Moczarski Foundation, the Polish National Centre for Culture and other sponsors organized the competition already for the eighth year. The books were evaluated by the Commission, which is made up of a number of prominent historians.
The Polish historical books were written by Polish and foreign authors, covering the period from 1918 to the present day.
