LITHUANIAN DIPLOMAT DISCUSSES DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONS WITH SINGAPORE

On 16-19 November in Singapore, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Singapore Ginutis Voveris met with the country’s Minister of Health Khaw Boonu Wan, Minister of Transport Yeo Cheow Tong, Minister of Information, Communications and the Arts Lee Boon Yang and high officials of the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Lithuanian diplomat also visited the Nanyang Technological University and the Singapore Tourism Board.
At the meetings, opinions on the issues of bilateral relations were exchanged, possibilities to develop bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism and investments were discussed, as well as opportunities of cultural cooperation and communication among universities.
At the Singapore Ministry of Finance, Ginutis Voveris signed an agreement on avoidance of double taxation between the Republic of Lithuania and Singapore.
Ambassador at Large Ginutis Voveris resides at the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vilnius.
