LITHUANIAN DIPLOMAT DIED IN BELARUS

On 22 August night Minister Counsellor of the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Grodno Lithuanian security officer Vytautas Pociūnas died during his official visit to Brest (Belarus).

The body of the diplomat was found near the hotel building. It is suspected that Mr Pociūnas fell out of the window of the high-rise building.

The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
