LITHUANIAN CONSULAR POST TO BE OPENED IN VALENCIA
On 15-18 February Lithuanian Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Oskaras Jusys and Director of Consular Department Vaidotas Verba pay a visit to Spain.
Lithuanian diplomats are to meet with the Spanish Foreign Ministry’s State Secretary for Foreign Policy and Latin America Bernardino Leon Gross, State Secretary for European Affairs Alberto Navarro Gonzalez and General Director of Spanish Foreign Service Diego Muñiz Lovelase in Madrid.
During the meeting it is planned to discuss European Union’s bilateral cooperation issues, possibilities of Lithuanian-Spanish consular cooperation in South America where Lithuania has only one diplomatic mission and in countries where Spain has no diplomatic missions.
On 16 February the Foreign Ministry Undersecretary and the Director of Consular Department take part in official opening of the Consular Post of the Republic of Lithuania in Valencia.
