The Director of the 2nd Department of Bilateral Relations expressed the necessity of sharing the information with the Lithuanian institutions about the flow of any illegal capital from the Ukraine to Lithuania every time the Ukrainian officers possessed the information of that kind.
The agreement signed between the taxation institutions of the both states serves as the grounds for the active and close bilateral co-operation.
The meeting between the diplomats of Lithuania and the Ukraine was held after the news agencies broadcasted the statements made by the Ukrainian officials, who said that the Baltic States served as a corridor for the flow of an illegal capital, whereas the main flow of dubious transactions originated from the Ukraine.
