LITHUANIAN AND LATVIAN FOREIGN MINISTERS TO DISCUSS BILATERAL RELATIONS
On 10 November Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekūnas has a working dinner with Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Artis Pabriks who pays a visit to Vilnius.
The Ministers are to discuss important issues of bilateral relations: cross-border cooperation, the Rail Baltica and energy projects in the region.
Opinions on enlargement of the Schengen zone, European neighborhood policy, NATO Summit in Riga and multilateral relations issues will be exchanged.
Latvian Foreign Minister Artis Pabriks will also visit representation of Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, meet with Director of the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University Prof. Dr. Raimundas Lopata.
