During the meeting, Minister A.Ažubalis highlighted historical relations between Lithuania and Israel, and the new qualitative stage on the agenda of bilateral relations.

“Today Lithuania and Israel are developing a positive bilateral agenda: the political, public dialogue, as well as economic, trade and tourism exchange,” head of Lithuania’s diplomacy said.

The Minister noted that Lithuania supports deepening of the EU-Israel relations, and called on Israel to aim at making progress in peacefully solving the Middle East conflict.
