Lithuanian and Belarusian Foreign Vice-Ministers discuss bilateral economic relations in Vilnius

Lithuania-Belarus economic consultations took place on 5 March in Vilnius headed by Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Rolandas Kriščiūnas and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Alexander Guryanov. Bilateral economic cooperation and regional economic integration, such as trade, investment, transport and transit were discussed during the meeting. Kriščiūnas and Guryanov  expressed content  with the existing economic cooperation and interest in developing it in the future.

Preparation for the next meeting of the Lithuania-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission in Belarus this year and the Lithuania-Belarus Business Forum to be held this June in Marijampolė were discussed. Guryanov has informed about cooperation between Belarus and the World Trade Organization, International Monetary Fund and the Eastern partnership countries.
