Lithuanian Ambassador presents his credential letters to President of United States

On 17 September, the Ambassador of Lithuania to the United States of America Rolandas Kriščiūnas presented his credential letters to the President of the U.S. Barack Obama.

Obama and the Lithuanian Ambassador discussed bilateral relations, plans for cooperation in the fields of defence and security after the ceremony at the White House.

President Obama thanked Lithuania for its active engagement into the actualization and solution of regional security issues. Obama stressed that he was proud of the Lithuanian community in the United States and asked to give the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė his best wishes.
