Lithuanian Ambassador presented letters of credence to the President of Israel

Lithuania’s new Ambassador to Israel Edminas Bagdonas presented his letters of credence to President of Israel Reuven Rivlin on 11 September.
After the ceremony, the President expressed his satisfaction that cooperation between Lithuania and Israel intensifies, and underlined the importance of exploiting growing potential for development of relations in the fields of business, tourism, high technology and culture.
Israeli President also recalled his ties with Lithuania, the country from which his ancestors came to Israel.
