Lithuanian Ambassador presented letters of credence to the President of Iran

Lithuanian Ambassador in Turkey Kęstutis Kudzmanas presented the letters of credence to President of Iran Hassan Rouhani on 2 September.
The Ambassador and the President highlighted the necessity to develop bilateral partnership, especially in the fields of business, tourism, and culture.
Discussing conflicts in Ukraine, Syria, Iraq and Nagorno-Karabakh the interlocutors agreed that there could be no military solutions to these conflicts, and noted that the international community must make every effort in seeking peace in these regions.
