LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF URUGUAY

On 22 February in Montevideo, Lithuanian Ambassador to Argentina Vaclovas Šalkauskas presented his credentials to President of Uruguay José Alberto Mujica Cordano. During his stay in Montevideo, the Ambassador laid a wreath at the monument to the national hero of Uruguay José Gervasio Artigas and met with representatives from the Lithuanian community in Uruguay.

V.Šalkauskas, who resides in Argentina, is the second Lithuanian Ambassador to Uruguay.
