LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF CHINA

On 24 January Lithuanian Ambassador Rokas Bernotas presented credentials to the President of China Hu Jintao.
The President of China Hu Jintao marked that China and Lithuania cooperate closely in political, economic, cultural and other spheres. The President shared pleasant memories of visits of Lithuanian and Chinese officials, extended greetings to the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus.
Ambassador Bernotas welcomed successful Lithuanian-Chinese cooperation and stable development of bilateral trade and noted that Lithuania sought to increase cooperation in transport, culture and sport spheres.
