LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN

On 30 March Lithuanian Ambassador  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan Vytautas Naudužas presented credentials to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

President Aliyev marked Lithuania’s and personally President’s Valdas Adamkus’ assistance in strengthening Azerbaijan’s relations with the Euro-Atlantic community.

“Lithuania’s successful experience on its way to the European Union and NATO is an excellent example and a lead for Azerbaijan when our country implements reforms and builds a modern European state,” the Head of Azerbaijan said.

Ambassador Naudužas drew attention to the significantly increasing economic potential of Azerbaijan that encourages Lithuanian businessmen to work more actively in promising market of this country.

Ambassador Naudužas is Lithuanian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Turkey and resides in Ankara.
