LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE KING OF SWEDEN

On 9 November in Stockholm Lithuanian Ambassador Remigijus Motuzas presented credentials to the King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf.

The King of Sweden welcomed excellent Swedish-Lithuanian relations and shared pleasant memories of his visits to Lithuania.

Ambassador Motuzas conveyed cordial greetings of the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus as well as the President’s invitation for the Swedish royal couple to pay one more visit to Lithuania.

During the conversation environment protection issues important for both states were discussed.

Remigijus Motuzas is the fourth Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden.
