LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE KING OF NORWAY
On 14 January, Lithuania’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway Andrius Namavičius presented credentials to King Harald V of Norway.
During the ceremony at the Royal Palace in Oslo, the King highlighted good political, economic and cultural relations between Lithuania and Norway.
The Ambassador thanked the King for visiting Vilnius in 2009 and for participating in the celebration of Lithuania’s Millennium events.
The Government of Lithuania approved the nomination of A.Namavičius as Lithuania’s Ambassador to Norway in December last year. He is the fifth Ambassador of Lithuania to Norway.
Lithuania and Norway re-established diplomatic relations on 27 August 1991.
