LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION

On 15 September, Lithuanian Ambassador to international organisations in Vienna Renatas Norkus presented credentials to Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Kandeh K. Yumkella. During the meeting Ambassador R.Norkus highlighted the significance of the UN Industrial Development Organization for the developing countries.
The Lithuanian Ambassador expressed intentions to keep the dialogue between Lithuania and the UN Industrial Development Organization active, and to seek participation in regional programs, beneficial not only for Lithuania, but also for its neighbouring countries.
