LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO HM KING OF NORWAY
On 9 March Lithuanian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway Alfonsas Eidintas presented credentials to HM King Harald V of Norway.
During the audience in the royal palace Ambassador Eidintas extended cordial greetings of the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus to HM King Harald V, who in his turn noted that he always remembers with pleasure all official and informal meetings with Lithuanian President.
In course of the conversation HM King of Norway showed interest in Lithuanian topicalities, economic progress and development of democracy.
Lithuanian Ambassador Eidintas thanked Norway for supporting Lithuania during the most difficult first years of independence. Ambassador noticed that there are many opportunities to develop bilateral economic relations.
