LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR OPENS A BUSINESS CONFERENCE IN CHISINAU
On 14 April in Chisinau, Lithuanian Ambassador Violeta Motulaitė opened the Business Conference “The Strategy of Rapid Growth”.
At the event, the Ambassador emphasized the existing favorable conditions for the development of bilateral Lithuanian-Moldovan economic cooperation.According to V.Motulaitė, the driving force behind the success of Lithuania’s transition was the people’s strong desire to work hard and readiness to implement the necessary reforms.
“Today I observe such an atmosphere also in Moldova. Your country’s determination to follow the Euro-integration path finds support in Vilnius, in Brussels and in other European capitals. Now it is up to Moldova to implement the reforms. It is not an easy task. But Lithuania, along with other EU member states, stands ready to share its Euro-integration experience,” Ambassador said.
V.Motulaitė also stressed that after establishing a strong, dynamic and competitive business sector, Lithuania was no longer only knowledge importing, but also knowledge exporting economy.
The Conference “The Strategy of Rapid Growth” was organized by the Lithuanian business consulting company “TOC Sprendimai” and its branch in Moldova “Centrul TOC”.
The Conference was attended by 70 representatives from Moldovan companies.
