LITHUANIA WILL AID HAITI'S EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
Lithuania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs will allocate 50 thousand Litas (14 500 EUR) aid for Haiti’s earthquake victims through Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion programme.
According to Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas, Lithuania is a responsible member of an international community and “cannot remain indifferent to the catastrophe that affected other people”.
Lithuania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is inviting all the Lithuanian people to contribute to the provision of aid in the wake of the Haiti earthquake tragedy and supports the initiatives of nongovernmental organisations to help the people of Haiti.
