LITHUANIA WELCOMES UKRAINE‘S RESOLUTION TO MEET ITS COMMITMENTS
Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes Ukraine‘s decision to start implementation of the Joint Declaration of Moldovan and Ukrainian Prime Ministers signed on 30 December, 2005.
The Declaration establishes a new customs registration regime for Transdnistrian business subjects, that contributes greatly to normalization of international trade on Moldovan and Ukrainian border.
Difficult situation on Moldovan and Ukrainian border has shown that the administration of Transdnistrian region unacknowledged by international community is not interested in goods control and transparency of customs procedures. Whereas due to the implementation of the new customs order Transnistrian business can integrate into the legal trade sphere and export their products legally.
