Lithuania to intensify business ties with South Korea

On 2 October, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Choi Sung-joo.

Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister welcomed effective formats of bilateral and multilateral political consultations, stressed the need to further deepen cooperation, and to promote direct business contacts. South Korea’s Ambassador was offered to conclude a working holiday agreement and the delegation was also invited to attend an international forum in the Baltics for world-class biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices experts – the Life Sciences Baltics 2018.

The Ambassador of South Korea informed Germanas that the Korea Trade Centre in Warsaw would soon take over the promotion of business ties between Lithuania and Korea. He also briefed on the upcoming visit of a delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea’s  Parliamentary Friendship Group with Lithuania the following week.
