LITHUANIA STRENGTHENS RELATIONS WITH MOROCCO AND MAURITANIA

On 15 December Lithuanian Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Oskaras Jusys met with Ambassador of Morocco Aicha El Kabbaj and Ambassador of Mauritania Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Dahi in Vilnius.
In the meeting with the Ambassador of Morocco bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Morocco were discussed, stressing the importance of investment promotion and protection, cultural cooperation and signing of agreements.
In the meeting with the Ambassador of Mauritania Undersecretary Oskaras Jusys marked that Lithuania is interested in further evolvement of relations with Mauritania in the area of fishery. Lithuania considers possibility of providing Mauritania technical assistance aiming at retention of its economic positions in this country.
