Lithuania opens its Honorary Consulate in the province Limburg of the Netherlands
On 5 April, Lithuania officially opened its Honorary Consulate in the province Limburg of the Netherlands. It will be headed by an active local entrepreneur and public figure Aloys Bruggeman.
During the opening, Lithuania's Ambassador to the Netherlands Vidmantas Purlys said that the opening of the Honorary Consulate would contribute to the strengthening of business ties between Lithuania and the province, as well as to the bilateral cultural and academic exchange.
The province of Limburg is located in the southernmost region of the Netherlands. It is an innovation leader. Maastricht University and other well-known universities are also located in the province.
This will be the fourth Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in the Netherlands.
