LITHUANIA HANDS A NOTE TO THE BELARUSIAN EMBASSY REQUESTING OFFICIAL INFORMATION ON AN OUTBREAK OF SWINE FEVER IN GRODNO REGION

On 27 June, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania handed a note to the Embassy of Belarus, requesting official information on an outbreak of swine fever in Grodno region. Taking into account the probable threat of African swine fever spread the Foreign Ministry requests to provide detailed information on the outbreak of the disease and measures taken by Belarusian authorities to prevent its spreading straight away.
