LITHUANIA EXPRESSED CONDOLENCES ON THE DEATH OF RUSSIAN DIPLOMATS IN IRAQ

On 27 June Acting Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis sent a letter of condolences on the death of Russian diplomats in Iraq to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

“Lithuania is deeply disturbed by the murder of diplomats of Russian embassy in Iraq. Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns this act of terrorism and expresses conviction that those responsible will be brought to justice. 

We offer our heartfelt condolences on this tragic loss to the families of victims and the diplomatic corps of Russia,” is written in Minister Valionis’ letter to Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov.
