LITHUANIA EXPRESSED CONDOLENCES ON THE DEATH OF KOSOVO PRESIDENT

On 23 January Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis sent a letter of sympathy to Kosovo Parliament Speaker Nexhat Daci for the death of Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova on Saturday.

“You have lost one of the most respectable diplomats and truly prominent persons whose wisdom and practical approach led to peaceful solutions for Kosovo. I would like to reassure you that the Lithuanian nation expresses its heart-felt support for your beautiful country and its citizens during this period of challenges.” the Minister’s letter said.
