Lithuania establishes diplomatic relations with Niger
On 30 May in New York, Raimonda Murmokaitė, Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the United Nations, and Boubacar Boureima, Permanent Representative of Niger to the United Nations, signed a Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Lithuania and Niger.
The establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the strengthening and promotion of bilateral relations between Lithuania and Niger.
Niger is the 179th state with which Lithuania has established diplomatic relations.
