Lithuania establishes diplomatic relations with Liberia
On 23 April in New York, the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the United Nations Raimonda Murmokaitė and the Permanent Representative of Liberia to the United Nations Marjon Kamara signed a Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Lithuania and Liberia.
The establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to strengthening and promoting bilateral relations.
Lithuania contributes to the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).
Liberia is the 178th country with which Lithuania has established diplomatic relations.
