LITHUANIA CONDEMNS ANTI-SEMITIC ACTIONS
On 21 April, chargé d’affaires of the Lithuanian Embassy in Israel Irena Skardžiuvienė met with heads of Israel’s wood surface company Hadar 2000 and expressed regret about the anti-Semitic drawings on the delivery of wood from Lithuania.
Chargé d’affaires I.Skardžiuvienė communicated an official position of the Lithuanian Government to the owners of the company: Lithuania does not tolerate rowdy anti-Semitic actions and condemns them.
On 17 April, the Hadar 2000 wood surface company received a delivery from a provider in Lithuania. The delivery bore swastikas and other drawings of anti-Semitic content.
