Linkevičius meets with representatives of American companies doing business in Lithuania

“Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry has always been open to cooperation with business organizations and strives to make it more consistent, continuous and beneficial not only to businesses, but also to all Lithuanian citizens,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius in a meeting with members of the American Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting discussed dynamics of the Lithuania-U.S. economic cooperation, plans for business development in Lithuania and expectations related to the work of the Government.

Linkevičius drew attention to the ever-improving results of bilateral trade and investment cooperation. According to Lithuania’s Foreign Minister, the U.S. companies doing business in Lithuania can feel safe and develop their activities successfully.

The American Chamber of Commerce is an international business organization, which was established in Lithuania in 1993. The Chamber currently brings together more than 120 U.S. companies and entrepreneurs doing business in Lithuania. The members include such well-known U.S. companies as UBER, 3M, Western Union, Deloitte, IBM, Moog, Pfizer, AIG, Nasdaq, and others.
