Linkevičius meets with Oman’s Minister of Information in Vilnius
On 8 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with Oman’s Minister of Information Abdulmonam Mansoor Al-Hasani. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister discussed opportunities to foster mutually beneficial cooperation between Lithuania and Oman.
When marking the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Ministers expressed their desire to maintain the existing close relationship. On this occasion, Oman’s Minister of Information came to Lithuania with his delegation. Abdulmonam Mansoor Al-Hasani will open an event ‘Treasures of Oman’, which was organized by the Honorary Consul of Oman to Lithuania. This is one of many events dedicated to Oman’s culture that are scheduled for February. According to Oman’s Minister of Information, this is a great opportunity to present Oman to Lithuania.
Both Ministers also discussed opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations. Oman’s Minister of Information invited Linkevičius to visit Oman.
