Linkevičius congratulates Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister on National Day

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated his counterpart, Luxembourg’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn on the National Day of Luxembourg.
Lithuania’s Foreign Minister noted that Luxembourg was an important and close partner of Lithuania. “I would like to express my highest appreciation for the commitment of your country to contribute to greater security of the Baltic region and to participate in the NATO’s enhanced forward presence in Lithuania,” Linkevičius wrote in the congratulations letter.
The National Day is celebrated in Luxembourg on June 23.
