Linkevičius congratulates Jordan’s new Foreign Minister
On 29 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on his re-appointment as the Jordanian Foreign Minister. The new Cabinet led by the Prime Minister Hani Mulki was sworn in before King Abdullah II on 28 September.
Linkevičius sent a congratulation letter to Jordan’s Foreign Minister wishing him every success in his new role. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister highlighted warm relations between the two countries, expressing his conviction that the relationship would only intensify in the future.
The Lithuanian Foreign Minister reiterated the invitation to Jordan’s Foreign Minister to visit Lithuania. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister paid an official visit to Jordan in 2014.
