Linkevičius congratulates his Croatian counterpart on National Day
On 25 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Marija Pejčinović Burić and all the people of Croatia on the National Day.
In the congratulations letter, Linkevičius noted that Lithuania and Croatia enjoyed a long-lasting and sincere relationship, based on mutual respect, common values, a robust partnership within the European Union, NATO, and other international organizations. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister also wished success to the new Croatian Foreign Minister, who was appointed to this responsible position on 19 June.
“I believe that, during your term of office, Lithuania and Croatia will continue to intensify their active cooperation in the fields of defence, security, energy, trade and economy,” said the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Lithuania’s diplomatic relations with Croatia on 18 March 1992.
