Landsbergis to visit Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia

On 24-31 October, Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis and a Lithuanian business delegation will visit Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia.

On 25 October, the Minister will visit Vietnam, where he will meet with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr Pham Minh Chinh, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Bui Thanh Son.

The Foreign Ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on inter-ministerial cooperation in Vietnam.

Mr Landsbergis will also participate in the Ministerial Forum on "Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable and Quality Investment" of  OECD's South-East Asia Regional Programme (SEARP).

On the sidelines of the event, minister G. Landsbergis will also meet with the Thai Foreign Minister, Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara.

On 27 October, minister Landsbergis will meet with Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. The Lithuanian Embassy in Singapore will be officially opened during the Minister's visit. The Minister will also visit the Lithuanian school "Šnekutis" and meet with members of the Lithuanian community in Singapore.

On 30 October, the Minister will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi.
