Landsbergis meets with the new Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom
During the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., Gabrielius Landsbergis met with the new Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Lammy. The Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs also participated in the meeting.
"The leadership of the United Kingdom is crucial in ensuring the security of the Baltic states and Europe. I hope that the role of the United Kingdom will continue to be significant for the transatlantic link and will help strengthen the international community's response to Russia," Landsbergis stressed.
The meeting also discussed bilateral cooperation and the need to spare no effort to hold Russia to account for its aggression and brutal crimes committed in Ukraine.
