During his visit to Washington, D.C., the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, met with Philip H. Gordon, National Security Advisor to the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris.
"The partnership between Lithuania and the United States is exceptional. Today, together with the U.S., we are strengthening the front for democracies not only in Europe but also in the Indo-Pacific region and expanding bilateral economic ties. The world we will live in for decades to come will depend largely on our joint efforts to seek Ukraine's victory," said Landsbergis.
The meeting also discussed the special relationship between Lithuania and the United States and the strategic importance of the presence of U.S. troops in Lithuania.
