L.Linkevičius to attend an Informal Meeting of EU Foreign Ministers in Athens

On 4-5 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius will attend an Informal Meeting of EU Ministers for Foreign Affairs (Gymnich) in Athens, Greece.
The Ministers will debate political processes in the European Union’s neighbourhood and their impact on the EU’s common foreign policy, and will review developments in the field of the EU’s neighbourhood policy. Separate sessions will take place, during which the Ministers will discuss the situation in the EU’s neighbourhood with the Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament Elmar Brok and Foreign Ministers of the EU candidate countries.
The Ministers will also discuss and evaluate the EU’s relations with its strategic partners.
