L.Linkevičius: Lithuania supports Kosovo’s European integration and is ready to share its experience
On 26 February in Vilnius, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with Kosovo’s new Ambassador Ilir Dugolli, discussed successful bilateral relations, opportunities to further strengthen the relationship and underlined his support for Kosovo’s European integration.
“We welcome great progress, reached by Kosovo in the six years of its existence. We wish you to stay focused and determined to continue to strengthen the statehood of your country. Lithuania supports Kosovo’s European integration - we are ready to continue to share Lithuanian expertise and to strengthen our inter-institutional cooperation,” L.Linkevičius said.
The Ambassador I.Dugolli presented his letters of credence to the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė on 24 February. The diplomat resides in Stockholm, Sweden. He is also appointed as Ambassador to Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Iceland.
