ISSUES OF LITHUANIAN SUPPORT TO MOLDOVA’S REFORMS DISCUSSED IN VILNIUS
On 5 May Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekūnas with visiting in Vilnius Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Andrei Stratan discussed important bilateral and the EU-Moldova relations as well as the issue of Transnistrian conflict.
The Ministers also discussed Lithuanian support to Moldova’s development reforms, exchanged their opinions about the opportunities to implement the effective European Union Neighbourhood policy.
The issues of the EU Neighbourhood policy are to be discussed on 22 June, in the European Council in Brussels.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova A.Stratan is paying a working visit to Lithuania.
