INDIAN MINISTER OF STATE FOR EXTERNAL AFFAIRS WILL VISIT LITHUANIA

On 29-31 March, the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur will be paying a visit to Lithuania.

During the official visit, meetings of P.Kaur are planned with President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, Speaker of the Seimas (Parliament) Irena Degutienė, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius, Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis, Minister of Finance Ingrida Šimonytė and Members of the Seimas.

The meetings with Lithuanian officials will focus on bilateral relations, cooperation in the fields of economy, culture and education, the most important processes in Europe and Asia, international cooperation and global issues.

During the visit of P.Kaur to Lithuania, officials intend to sign two agreements: the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement and the memorandum of understanding between Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and Punjab College of Technical Education.

This is the fourth visit of the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs to Lithuania. Its agenda also includes the visit of P.Kaur to Vilnius University, Mykolas Romeris University and the India Visa Application Centre.
