In Warsaw, Landsbergis meets with Poland's Chairman of the Sejm Foreign Affairs Commission, Paweł Kowal
On the evening of March 19, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabrielius Landsbergis, met with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm Paweł Kowal in Warsaw.
"The changing security environment forces us to look for more reliable instruments of support for Ukraine than hope. We cannot say we are doing everything possible if Ukraine does not receive enough weapons and ammunition," Landsbergis said at the meeting.
The head of Lithuania's diplomacy with Poland's Chairman of the Sejm Foreign Affairs Commission, Kowal, also discussed the need to decide on Ukraine's EU accession at the next European Council meeting.
During the meeting, Landsbergis emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Lithuania and Poland in ensuring the security of NATO's eastern flank and European and transatlantic security.
