In cooperation with partners, ITF is implementing various Holocaust education projects that are dedicated to the general public, educators and academic community.

Lithuania became member of ITF in 2002. This organization brings together 28 countries from around the world that have acceded to the 2000 Stockholm Declaration that are encouraging the international community to perpetuate the remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust and to combat various forms of anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia.

This year in The Hague, three more countries are joining the organization: Ireland, Serbia and Slovenia. In 2012, Belgium will take over the Chairmanship of the ITF from the Netherlands.

The Parliament (Seimas) of Lithuania has declared 2011 as the Year of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust in Lithuania.
