IN TBILISI UNDERSECRETARY OF FOREIGN MINISTRY MET WITH THE SPEAKER OF THE PARLIAMENT OF GEORGIA

On 22 August in Tbilisi, Undersecretary of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Laimonas Talat-Kelpša met with Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia David Bakradze and discussed the present situation in Georgia and further provision of assistance to Georgia.
During the meeting, the interlocutors stated that currently the most significant was manifold economic and political assistance of the European Union to Georgia, especially seeking to attract long term EU investment and to implement reconstruction projects of the damaged Georgian infrastructure.
