IN POLAND FOREIGN VICE-MINISTER DISCUSSED IMPORTANT ISSUES OF BILATERAL RELATIONS

On 20 May, Vice-Minister of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid a working visit to Warsaw. The Vice-Minister met with Under-Secretaries of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Witold Waszczykowski and Andrzej Kremer. During the meetings, the issues of the European Union and Russia, the EU policy towards the countries in the East, and other important multilateral issues were discussed. J.Neverovič also met with Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Secretary of State Robert Draba. During the meeting, the energy security, the relations between EU and Russia, important issues of bilateral Lithuanian - Polish cooperation were discussed.

On 21 May, Vice-Minister J.Neverovič took part in the events of the Lithuanian Days in Toruń, gave a lecture at the University of Toruń, met with the local government and opened an exhibition of the Lithuanian painters' company.
