IN PARIS, VICE-MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF LITHUANIA DISCUSSED THE PERSPECTIVES OF UNESCO’S ACTIVITIES
On 16-19 September at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Šarūnas Adomavičius met with many representatives of African, Latin American, Asian and European states and discussed the perspectives of this specialized UN Agency’s activities.
The meetings took place during the 182nd session of UNESCO’s Executive Board, which continues until 23 September.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, Vice-Minister Š.Adomavičius discussed crisis management strategies and consular assistance issues, further cooperation between Lithuania and France in this area, as well as shared experience in assisting compatriots abroad.
